National Theatre Live!
See the hilarious, award-winning, one-woman show that inspired the hit, Emmy-winning (including Outstanding Comedy series) FLEABAG, recorded from London’s West End. Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) and directed by Vicky Jones, FLEABAG is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life in this ‘legitimately hilarious show’ (The New Yorker).
Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered and self-obsessed, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose.
For everyone who missed the sold-out run and isn’t flying to London for the limited presentation there, the National Theatre has recorded the September 12, 2019 live performance of FLEABAG, which we will be presenting on screen. For at least the next 12 months, this FLEABAG program will only be available in cinemas — it won’t be available anywhere else, not online, not on demand, not on television, and not on home video.
