The International Affairs Forum in collaboration with the State Theatre presents the national premiere of the documentary, "The Price of Peace" -- a searing new look at how countries have stumbled into conflict - or averted it - beginning with WWI and ending with a special look at Korea. The one-hour film will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers (Kip Perry, Elan Bentov and Leland-based Executive Producer Tom Skinner) and MajGen (ret.) Brian Bishop who commanded troops in Korea, moderated by former diplomat Jack Segal.

Donations will be collected for this year's winning Academic WorldQuest team!

Academic WorldQuest is a nationwide quiz-bowl type of competition, challenging high school students to learn about global issues. This year's winning team is the "Questosterones", a talented group of high school seniors from Petoskey who will now represent northern Michigan at the National Competition in April. All donations collected on March 5 will go to the team to defray travel expenses.
