Future of Electric Mobility with Revenge of the Electric Car

Electric automobiles are more and more common on roads today, but there was a time (just over ten years ago, in fact) when they were all but extinct, recalled and destroyed by the very car companies that manufactured them. Why? Join us for the 2011 documentar "Revenge of the Electric Car" to find out why. And afterwards stick around for a panel discussion featuring Governor Jennifer Grandholm!

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
Saturday, June 24 at 11:00 pm - Part of Up North Pride Week!

This is the first time we've shown this cult classic about Australian drag queens who must venture out into the desert to perform at a far-flung club, and it's the perfect choice to kick off Up North Pride Week! Starring Agent Smith himself, Hugo Weaving, and Guy Pierce (2002's "The Count of Monte Cristo"). Ticket prices are just $3 or 2 for $5!

Two Spirits
Sunday, June 25 at 5:00 pm - At the Bijou -  FREE! Following the 4th Annual Up North Pride Rally and Visibility March and A Very Pride Picnic in Clinch Park!

"Nàdleehi,” or “Two Spirit,” is a word in the Navajo language that means a person that is physically masculine but with a feminine nature. Once considered an sacred and integral part of Navajo life and spirituality, today they are largely misunderstood in both Navajo communities and the world at large. This film atempts to understand Nàdleehi through the life of Fred Martinez, a who was tragically murdered at age 16.
