And that’s just June…

In July, we kick things off with Edgar Wright’s action comedy Hot Fuzz on the 6th, then some movie you’ve probably never heard of called Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark on July 13, and then Quentin Tarantino’s masterpiece Pulp Fiction on July 20. Then we take a break for the remainder of July for the TCFF (which will have some stellar midnight films to be announced.)

We come back in August with Spielberg’s horror classic Poltergeist on August 10, David Bowie’s Labyrinth on August 17, Micheal Jordan’s Space Jam (you read that right - we’re showing THE Space Jam) on August 24, and we wrap up the summer FNF’s with Deadpool 2 on August 31.

We’ve got the original Jumanji (the one from 1995 with Robin Williams) on August 11,
Followed by Pixar’s Monster’s Inc. on August 14, 16, and 18, Paddington 2 on August 21, 23, and 25, and wrap up the summer Kids Matinees with Ferdinand on August 28, 30 and September 1.

Our classics theme for June is The Dog Days of Summer, so it’s nothing but classic movies with canine protagonists all month! June 6 is Lassie Come Home (1943), followed by Cary Grant in The Awful Truth (1937) on June 13, The Ugly Dachshund (1966) on June 20, and The Shaggy Dog (1959) on June 27.

July opens up with a week of FREE classic films for Cherry Festival, including Singing in the Rain (1952) on July 2, Anatomy of a Murder (1959) on July 3, Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942) on July 4, The Magnificent Seven (1960) on July 5, and The Wizard of Oz (1939) on July 6. July’s selections end out with Judy Garland and Gene Kelly in Summer Stock (1950) on July 11 and The Band Wagon (1953) on July 18.

After the Film Festival we come back in August with the theme “Let’s Twist Again… (Like We Did Last Summer) with Charade (1963) on August 15, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) on August 22, and finally The Sting (1973) on August 29.
